Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Made-to-order items

Every book from A Bindery by Zara is handbound to order, using the specifications you choose (edition, cover materials, colours and any personalisation). We don't accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

Customers in the EU, EEA and UK

The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal doesn't apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised (Article 16(c), Directive 2011/83/EU; UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, reg. 28). Placing an order confirms that you understand this.

Cancellations

You can cancel within 24 hours of ordering, before we start work, for a full refund. Once binding has started, we can't cancel the order because the materials are cut to your order. Please contact us on info@abinderybyzara.com to cancel your order.

Damaged or faulty items

This policy doesn't affect your statutory rights. If your order arrives damaged, has a defect, or isn't what you ordered, email us within 14 days of delivery with photos. We'll repair it, remake it or refund you, and we'll cover return postage where needed.
